Frederick Hermann Raymond Reinhardt, 76, of Kingwood, Texas passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2020. Frederick was born on May 2, 1943 in Johannesburg, South Africa to Eric and Verna Reinhardt.

In his early life he lived in Pilgrims Rest, South Africa and moved as a teenager to Durban, South Africa. Frederick held the esteemed accomplishment of being an Eagle Scout and he graduated from Glenwood Boys High School in Durban. On January 7, 1967, he was married to Yvonne S. Flook, and they had two sons, Carl and Hugh. Frederick worked in steel pipe fabrication for Ferns Engineering and Satex Importers. He helped to found The Texas Potsie Festival, and he loved to spend time with his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his eldest son, Carl Reinhardt. Frederick is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Yvonne Reinhardt; son, Hugh Reinhardt; granddaughter, Sophia Reinhardt; sister, Gloria Morris; brother, Clive Reinhardt; and many other family and friends.

The family would like to offer special thanks to the Simmons Family, Afrikaanse Kerk, and everyone who has shown Yvonne and Hugh kindness and support. A Celebration of Life will be held for Frederick on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. with a reception to follow at Darst Funeral Home, 796 Russell Palmer Road, Kingwood, Texas 77339.
