Robert McClain Murray was born on October 21st, 1940 in Cambridge, Ma to Robert McClain Murray and Helen Louise Parry. He was the first of thirteen children and lived in Cambridge, Ma, until 1942 when he moved to Bellows Falls VT and later moved back to Ma in Sommerville in Junior High School. There Robert attended Sommerville High School and Bunker Hill Community College where he earned an associate's degree. After graduating Robert began his professional career in the Baking business as a Production Supervisor starting at ITT Wonder Bread. Bobs working career spanned fifty-five years.

Robert married the love of his life, Mary Ellen Murray on December 2nd, 1972, at St Mary Chapel in Sudbury Ma. Robert and Mary Ellen would have four children Roland, Richard, Grant and Paige. After growing up in New England Bob moved to Kingwood, Texas where he lived with his loving wife Mary Ellen and children Grant and Paige for the past 40 years. Bob was a gentle giant who always put family first.

Bob was a devoted Catholic and a proud partitioner at St. Martha's Catholic Church in Kingwood, Tx were he and his brother Jimmy helped build many years ago.

Being an avid sports fan in his spare time Bob was a big fan of professional sports, knowing all the statistics and enjoyed hunting, fishing and boating. He also loved history, His favorite music was country and western, and Irish Tenors.

After retirement, he was involved in working at the local golf course as a Marshall, spending time with family, and enjoying his golden years. The family would like to thank his special friends Judy & Kenny Tidwell and Malia & Jack Pruit.

Robert was preceded in death by his daughter; Paige McCabe Murray, Mother; Helen Curtain, Father; Robert Murray, Twin Brother; Richard Murray, Sisters; Nancy Rodgers, Janet Anderson, Blanche Belliveau, and Patricia Eldridge. Brothers; James Murray, Michael Murray, and Thomas Murray. Father-in-law; Buddy Burger, Mother-in-law; Marian Burger. Brother in laws; Fletcher Burger, Jack Collins, Ed Anderson, Butch Eldridge, and Charles Belliveau.

Robert is survived by his Wife; Mary Ellen Murray, Sons; Roland Murray, Richard Murray, and Grant Murray. Daughters in law; Donna Murray and Cynthia Murray. Grandchildren; Alex Murray (Lauren), Ainsley Murray, Christian Murray (Hailey), and Sebastian Murray (Margaret). Step Grandchildren; Riley Cote and Cameron Higham. Great grandson; Walker Murray, Step Great Grandson; Zander Cote.

Sisters Annie Collins, Cora Lynn Varone (Alan), Una Zousimas (Sammy), Jane Spano (Ralph). Sisters in law; Edna Murray, Mandy Murray, and Judy Murray. Brother-in-law; Dennis Rodgers and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of life will be held at a later date at Saint Catherine's in Sommerville, MA (where Bob was an Alter boy in his younger years).
