Wanda Spruell Rogers passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 6, 2018, at her residence in Kingwood, TX at the age of 77. She was born on July 2, 1941, to her parents, Avit and Bertis Spruell in Doddridge, Arkansas.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years Haskel Rogers; one son, Blake Rogers of Houston, TX; one sister, Evelon Beard and husband Herky of Waynesboro, MS; stepsister Tara Burcham of Longview, TX; nephews, Brent Beard and wife Janet of State Line, MS, Mark Beard and wife Megan of Ellisville, MS and Larry Spruell, Jr. of Baton Rouge, LA; one niece, Amanda Spruell Evans of Walker, LA; special friends Janice Tumey of Kingwood, TX, Sharon Williamson of Baton Rouge, LA and a host of great nieces and nephews.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Samuel Steward and brother, Larry Spruell, Sr.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, July 13, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. with one hour of visitation from 9-10:00 a.m. prior to the service at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee. Bro. Buddy Keyes will officiate. Interment will follow in the Magee City Cemetery in Magee, MS.
