Ronald Wayne Pike of Kingwood, Texas passed away on October 14, 2026 at the age of 63.

Ron was born on December 29, 1962 in Arlington, Texas. He moved to the Houston area where he met the love of his life and worked as an aviation mechanic and inspector for Continental, then United airlines for over 30 years. He was known to many of his work buddies as “Ace,” and as far as his loved ones were concerned, if Ace was on the job things would be fixed up in no time.

Ron loved to spend time with his family and friends, fish, hunt, shoot, catch a comedy show, and watch the Dallas Cowboys (win or lose, though he much preferred a win). He had a generous heart, a contagious laugh, and was always cracking jokes.

He is survived by his loving wife of more than 35 years, Joanne Catherine (Harran) Pike, his son, Brendan Kyle Pike, his daughter, Danielle Kelene (Pike) Matteson, his siblings, Denise, James and Brad, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Marjorie Elaine Pike and James Wayne Pike.

If you knew Ron, you knew how proud he was of his family, and how much he loved his kids. You also probably knew how much he loved his dogs.

He will be missed by all who knew him.

Ron’s Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, November the 10th from 4-7 pm at Italiano’s: 217 Farm to Market 1960 Bypass Rd E, Humble, TX 77338.
