On August 11, 2026, Roy Gene Huth, of Humble, TX was lifted into eternal salvation by the hands of a loving God. He joins his parents Gilbert H. Huth, Sr. and Nelda Huth, and his brother Richard M. Huth, Sr. at the Welcome Table of the Lord. Roy was born in Weimer, TX in Colorado county on January 15th, 1953. He was 73 years of age. For many years of his life he graciously and selflessly cared for his parents until their passing. He served in the U.S. Army, worked for the S.P. Railroad for a time, worked with his friend Billy in the leather furniture business, in construction with friends David and Dahna, and also in the film production business, working often with his brother Tom. He had a caring, loving soul and will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know him.

Roy is survived by: Brothers – Gilbert H. Huth, Jr. and Tom Huth (wife-Jaci); Sisters – Nadine Krischke (husband-Leroy) and Nancy Smith (husband-Gary); Sister-in-law Sandy Huth; Nieces and Nephews: Melissa Gomez (husband-Tom), Kris Krischke (wife-Veronica), Linette Fitzhugh (husbandBrian), Richard Huth, Jr. (wife-Cami), Jesse Huth, Chase Smith (wife-Teonna), Zachary Smith, Matt Smith; Great Nieces and Nephews: Kristopher, Lance and Kara Krischke, Kolton, Tucker, and Kaylee Fitzhugh, Zoey and Emilia Smith, Ryan Hazeslip (fiance-Sandra), Taylor Hazeslip (fiance-Demarcus); Great Great Nieces and Nephews: Evrain Krischke, Aria Miller, and Adrian Hazeslip. Uncle: Harry (Sonny) Engelke, Jr. (wife-Allyson) and numerous cousins and other family members, and many great friends.

Roy had various interests, including chess, dominoes, Texas Hold-em, working on his cars, crossword puzzles, dancing, traveling, listening to music, watching Jeopardy and Hallmark movies. He liked cooking, especially baking and sharing those marvelous cookies he made. He loved family gatherings, especially Christmas, and hanging out with his second family: David and Dahna Brinkley, Dennis and Beverly Cunningham, and other close friends.
