Sandra Lee Hamel December 22, 1946 – October 15, 2026

Sandy Hamel went home to be with the Lord on October 15, 2026. She was a devoted pediatric nurse who truly loved her profession and caring for children. When she wasn’t working, she could often be found tending to her flowerbeds and feeding the birds—but not the squirrels! Sandy shared her life with several beloved dogs over the years, each holding a special place in her heart and bringing her years of companionship, joy, and unconditional love. Sandy was fiercely independent, quick-witted, and never short on personality. She had a way of making people laugh and leaving a lasting impression on everyone who knew her. Sandy is now reunited with her beloved mother, Raynell Huff, and resting peacefully in the Kingdom of Heaven. After years of struggle, her mind and body are finally free, and she has found the eternal peace she deserves. Sandy will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Amanda Armer and Angela Hampton and her husband, Kirk; her grandsons, Devan and Aiden Hampton; her sister, Anita Williams and her husband, Robert; her brother, Ilan Huff and his wife, Lesa; and her best friend of 50 years, Julie Neely. Sandy will be deeply missed by her family and friends, who will forever cherish her memory, her humor, and the many ways she made life a little more interesting.
