Sandra A. Paquet, 82, of Kingwood, Texas, passed away April 17th, 2026.

Born on May 10th, 1943 in Brooklyn, NY to Alexander and Agnes Vernon, Sandra and her sister, Lorna, grew up in Franklin Square on Long Island. Sandra attended Queens College before becoming a devoted full-time mother.

Sandra volunteered at her children's schools, served as both a Den Mother with Adam's Boy Scout troop and as a Cookie Mom for Suzanne's Girl Scout troop.

Years later, Sandra entered the workforce, initially as a dental office manager. She eventually landed at Administaff/Insperity as a Manager and I9 Expert. Many of her dearest friends were colleagues she met throughout her career.

Sandra enjoyed traveling and especially loved visiting Italy, France, Isreal, Hawaii and her countless trips to see family and loved ones in New York. As a retiree, she enjoyed playing cards and lunching with her many beloved friends.

Sandra was a voracious reader, an enthusiastic fan of British murder mysteries, a lifelong Broadway/Local theatre attendee, a lover of Music and Art whose passions were contagious and infectious.

Sandra is survived by her son, Adam Paquet, her daughter, Suzanne LeQuia and her son-in-law M. Lex LeQuia; Grandchildren Ethan Paquet, Madison Paquet, Mego Paquet, Christopher LeQuia, Jason LeQuia; Great Grandson Lex Michael LeQuia; Sister Lorna Galvin, Sister-In-Law Diana Erickson, Nieces & Nephews Linda Brescia, Laurie Lang, Cathy Barber, Michael Galvin, Michael Erickson, James Erickson and their extended families. She was preceded in death by her parents Alexander and Agnes Vernon, Brother-In-Law Ted Galvin, and Nephew Robert Galvin.

A Celebration of Life in Sandra's honor will be held on June 12, 2026 at 10 AM at Darst Funeral Home, 700 Russell Palmer Rd., Kingwood, Texas 77339.

In lieu of flowers, it was Sandra's wish for donations to MD Anderson Cancer Centers.
