Sherry Marie Parks, 64, of Humble, Texas, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2026.

Born on November 5, 1961, in Houston, Texas, Sherry was the beloved daughter of Earnest Allen Scott and Mary Kathrine Scott. Throughout her life, she was known for her loving heart, unwavering devotion to her family, and the joy she found in caring for those she loved most.

Above all else, Sherry's greatest passion was her family, especially her grandchildren. Being "Nana" was not simply a role she held—it was the center of her world. She devoted her time, energy, and endless love to her grandchildren, creating cherished memories that will live on in their hearts forever.

Sherry was preceded in death by her son, Michael Wayne Parks; her husband, Benny Calvin Parks; her father, Earnest Allen Scott; her mother, Mary Kathrine Scott; and her sisters, Karen Denise Vanness and Cara Eve Scott.

She is survived by her loving partner, Philip Ervin Baker, Jr.; her son, Clint Ashton Parks; her beloved grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends who will deeply miss her love, kindness, and presence.

Though her family mourns her passing, they find comfort in knowing that Sherry's legacy lives on through the grandchildren she loved so dearly. The love she gave so freely and the memories she created will continue to be treasured by all who knew her. Christmas was always the best at Nana and Pawpaw's.

A memorial gathering to celebrate Sherry's life will be held on June 27, 2026, at the home of her son, Clint Parks. Family and friends are invited to come together to honor her memory, share stories, and celebrate a life devoted to love and family.

Sherry will be remembered always for her gentle spirit, her generous heart, and the immeasurable love she gave to her family. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will never be forgotten.
