Shirlee Oma Avis (née Shirley), aged 82, passed away on August 1, 2024, in Kingwood, TX. Born on January 26, 1942, in Brownwood, Texas's she is remembered by her family and friends for her sweet and thoughtful Spirit . She is preceded in death by her parents Milton Davis Shirley and Tessie Oma Staton ,brother Milton Jr. Shirley husband Lynn Avis and her Beloved Son Jay Milton Harris.

Shirlee lived a life of service to her family and friends, she loved making jewelry and painting. Shirlee also sang with the Houston Horizon Chorus and The Woodlands Show Chorus and Sweet Adeline's International. Shirlee taught special Ed for decades and also helped addicts and alcoholics as a LCDC and Masters in counseling . Shirlee was a loving Wife to Lynn Avis and mother to Marty and Jay Milton Harris and the best Gandy ever to 3 Grandsons Justin Gregg , Noah Marburger and Zack Marburger and 9 Great Grandkids and 3 Great great Grandchildren
