In Loving Memory of Soresh Chand Sayroo

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Soresh Chand Sayroo on October 21, 2023, at the age of 68. Soresh, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, left this world surrounded by the love and presence of his family.

Soresh was born on December 23, 1954, in Victoria Village, Guyana, to his loving parents, Gocool and Gunessie Sayroo. He was raised with deep values and a strong sense of family, which would become the cornerstone of his life.

In 1970, fate brought Soresh together with his soulmate, Claudette, and in 1978, they pledged their everlasting love in marriage. Soresh is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, who stood by his side through every joy and challenge, building a life together that was filled with affection and understanding.

Soresh was a cherished father to his children: David, who is married to Kristy; Peter, who is married to Stephanie; and Jennifer, who is married to Calvin. He was a proud and adoring grandfather to Vanessa, Kaleigh, Parker, Shyla, and Pearson, who brought immense joy and laughter into his life.

He is also survived by his loving mother, Gunessie, his sisters, Seeta, and her husband Deo; Sandra and her husband Ron; Indira and her husband Shiek; as well as his brothers, Mike, Ramesh and his wife Sandra, and Rohan. Soresh had a large and loving extended family, including many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and countless dear friends who all held a special place in his heart.

Soresh was a man of simple pleasures and profound devotion. He found great joy in spending quality time with his family, nurturing his garden, and watching sports. As a proud Hindu, he was deeply connected to his spirituality and cherished moments of reflection and prayer. He had a special love for Indian music, which resonated in his soul, providing comfort and inspiration throughout his life.

Soresh Chand Sayroos presence brought warmth and comfort to the lives of all who knew him. He will be remembered for his kindness, his unwavering support, and his ability to make everyone around him feel cherished. Soresh leaves behind a legacy of love, family, and a deep commitment to the values he held dear.

In his passing, we remember a man who touched our lives with his love and wisdom. Soresh will be deeply missed, and his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
