Stanley Wojcik was born on September 26, 1937 in Luck, Poland, to parents Maciej Wojcik and Helena Ostrorog. He passed away on May 22, 2024
surrounded by family at his home in Kingwood, Texas.
Stan and his brother Ted arrived in the United States at New York, New York, on May 17, 1955. He was then drafted into the Army in 1958. He became a
naturalized United States citizen in 1961.
Stan married Janina Jedrzejczyk, they were married for 60 years and had 3 sons.
In 1979, Stan moved the Family to Kingwood, Texas, and began a new chapter in his life. Throughout his life, Stan enjoyed anything to do with the ocean, scuba
diving, traveling, spending time with family and in his early life, playing drums in a Polish band. He was a devout Catholic whose faith never wavered. He served as director of the Catholic Charismatic Center in Houston, Texas.
Stan is survived by his wife Janina; his sons Richard and his wife Kathy of Kingwood; Tony of Baytown, Texas, & Stanley Jr. of Nevada City, California; his sister Maria of Chicago; grandchildren Angela of Kingwood; Ryan and his wife Shelbi of Conroe, Texas; Ross of Kingwood; Senja & Tayjin of Grass Valley, California; Sister-in-law Christine of Westchester, Illinois; Sister-in-law Diane of Sauk Village, Illinois; Brother-in-law Tony and his wife Mary of Burlington, Wisconsin; Brother-in-law Stanley of Lawrenceville, Georgia.
