Emma Lee Suggs Stevens, age 94, passed away on Thursday afternoon, December 13, 2018 in Coarsegold, California, where she lived with her daughter Vicki Stanger and son-in-law Tom Stanger for the past 3 years.

Emma Lee was preceded in death by her husband Alfred Jackson Stevens, her son Alfred Jackson Stevens II, her brother Billy Wes Suggs and sister Beverly Ann Suggs Neitermayer. Emma Lee is survived by her daughter Vicki Lee Stevens Stanger; 3 siblings: G.O. Suggs, Geraldine Suggs Jones and Olen Wayne Suggs;3 grandchildren: Tom Glenn Stanger Jr., Deana Lee Stanger and Christina Maria Stevens Steiner; 3 great grandchildren: David Wells III, Audrey Wells and Caleb Steiner as well as many other friends and relatives.

Visitation is from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., Thursday, December 27, 2018 at the Darst Funeral Home 796 Russell Palmer Road Kingwood, Texas 77339. Brother, Olen Wayne Suggs will be speaking at the funeral service to be held at 10 a.m. Friday, December 28, 2018 at the Houston National Cemetery - 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive Houston, TX, phone 281-447-8686. A loving mother, mother in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, Emma Lee will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
