Suja Rachel Joseph was born on July 10, 1970, in Bhilai, India. She went to be with our Lord at the age of 53, on September 17, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones.

Suja was married to her husband of twenty-one years, Jose Joseph, and was the mother of two children, Aiden (15) and Evan (12). She was the second child and only daughter to (Late) Varghese T. Samuel and Annamma Samuel, and the sister to Saji (wife Teena) and younger brother, Sunil "Sibu" (wife Aarthi). She is also survived by her very loving nieces and nephews who referred to her as "Suja Aunty."

Suja was very involved at St. Stephen Orthodox Church and considered the parish members as part of her extended family. She was loved by many, and her strong Christian faith was always the cornerstone of the way she lived her life.

Suja was known for her beautiful smile, her giving personality, and her one-of-a-kind baking skills. She always lightened up the room, especially with the kids, when she brought over her special desserts and famous "Kahlua cake." She was always the one to send a thoughtful message on your birthday, anniversary, or any other special occasion.

Suja fought a courageous fight and lived her life to the fullest. In the toughest of times, she reminded everyone to never lose faith. She will truly be missed, but goodbye is not forever, and goodbye is not the end. It simply means, we will miss you until we meet again.
