Thomas Edwards "Hank" Alford, 73, passed away Sunday, June 8, 2025.

Hank was born May 22, 1952, in Langdale, Alabama, to the late Charles and Shirley (Royal) Alford.

His family moved to Clearfield, PA in 1967. He met his wife to be at Clearfield High School and they were later married on June 24, 1978.

Hank went to the University of Texas at Austin and graduated in the PLM program in 1977. He went to work for Exxon in the Land Exploration Department, until he retired in June of 2012. His hobby was his family.

Hank is survived by his wife, Cynthia (Mann) Alford, his wife of 46 years; two daughters, Heather (Alford) Basco of Lake Charles, LA; Kasey Alford of Humble, Texas; one granddaughter, Baleigh Basco of Lake Charles, LA; five nieces and nephews; 7 great-nieces and great-nephews; sister Dianne (Dinah) Alford of North Carolina, and brother, Charles (Charlie) Alford and wife, Brigid, of New Cumberland, PA.

Hank is preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be private and held at the discretion of the family.
