Thomas Ray Preston 65, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 6, 2023 in Houston, Texas. Tommy was born December 27, 1957, in Houston, Texas, was entered into rest after a long fought battle with cancer.

Tommy, as he was affectionally known was a devoted Dallas Cowboys and Houston Astros fan..His love of sports began from his childhood playing Little League Baseball in Pearland where he grew up…

One of our fondest memories are of him fishing off the pier for hours and hours at the family bay house. Tommy shared a common passion for motocross with his brother Eddie in which he won many trophies..

Tommy had a lifelong career in sales traveling throughout the United States earning him many awards for Top Salesman.

Tommy is preceded in death by his father, Clifford L. Dietrich, Jr, Grandparents, Garold and Maryanna Sears and Clifford Leroy and Mary Dietrich Sr..

He is survived by his mother, Nancy L. Dietrich, his siblings, Edward F Preston, Deborah L Wilson, Cheryl A Yarbrough and husband Jim, Karen D DeLosh and husband Kevin. Tommy is also survived by nephews, Chance E Wilson, Shelby R DeLosh and wife Kelsey and nieces Crystal N Collins and husband Gary-John, Cori D Castillo and husband Robert, Hailey D DeLosh…great nephews, Gabriel Castillo, Jaxson Castillo, Elijah Collins, great nieces, Abigail Collins and Rose Collins..

Tommy left behind his beloved German Shepherd Max, his constant companion, who brought him much love and comfort during his difficult time…

The family would like to thank Harbor Hospice for their care and comfort provided to Tommy.
