Timothy Fowler Prichard, of Kingwood, Texas, was born on February 21, 1942 in Asheville, North Carolina and went to be with his Lord and Savior on February 9, 2023. Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Allen and Treva Prichard. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Susan, his son, Timothy Prichard, Jr., his daughter, Beth Ploch and husband Steve, his grandchildren, Tanner, Jordyn, Logan and Cooper Prichard, Ben and Luke Ploch and Erin Hunnicutt and husband Johnny, and his sister, Mary Leonard.

Tim attended Georgia Tech University, where he played football until he sustained a career ending injury. He then transferred to Appalachian State University where he met his future wife, Susan Barnette. They married in 1965 and moved to Winston-Salem, North Carolina where he taught school and coached basketball. He received his MBA from East Carolina University in 1969. His professional career was spent in the transportation industry where he worked for over 40 years, primarily in sales management and the last five years as the president of Coastal Transport.

In 1974, after living in North Carolina, Dallas and Baton Rouge, Tim and Susan moved their family to Kingwood, Texas where they became members of Kingwood United Methodist Church. At KUMC, Tim was a member of Old Dads' Bible Study and Agape Sunday School class where he enjoyed helping organize the men's weekly breakfast. Tim spent many years coaching youth sports, including girls softball with Kingwood Girls Softball Association, football with Kingwood Football League and mostly as a baseball coach in the Forest Cove-Kingwood Little League and also American Legion baseball. He was a very successful and beloved coach to many over the years. Tim was also a member of Kingwood Country Club where he was an avid golfer and member of the Men's Golf Association. He enjoyed sharing his love of golf with kids, including his own children and grandchildren. Tim loved helping kids, especially those with limitations. He enabled them to play golf by advocating for them and he was also a supporter of the Special Olympics. Tim also had a love for fishing which he shared with his son, son-in-law and grandsons. He especially enjoyed spending time fly fishing in the trout streams of the North Carolina mountains. His greatest joy in retirement was watching his grandchildren play sports. As long as he was able to get there, he never missed a sports or school event. He loved his family dearly and always had time for his children and grandchildren. Tim was always ready with coaching advice in any sport and was happy to patiently share his knowledge, even during his last weeks.

A memorial service will be held on February 17th at 2 p.m. at Kingwood Methodist Church, 1799 Woodlands Hills Drive; Kingwood, Texas In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kingwood Methodist Church General Fund; P.O.
