Vartkes Taktajian, 78 years old, of Houston, Texas, went to be with the Lord, on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 surrounded by family.

Vartkes is survived by his beloved wife Arpie of 27 years, son Andrew, daughter Christine, daughter-in-law Maria, granddaughter Sofia, niece Shake Kessisian, and the entire Takhtajian, Chorbajian, Aposhian families.

Vartkes was a devoted Christian, a loving husband, father, uncle, grandpapa and friend to everyone. He was a generous and selfless man who cared deeply for helping others. He always enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and loved being a historian and storyteller to all.

Memorial services will be held on Friday October 27th, 2023 at 10:30 am at: Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery - Lot 500 12800 Westheimer Road Houston, TX 77077 Tel: (281) 497-2330
