Virginia Williams Shaw passed away peacefully on August 17, 2022. She was a resident in the Fountainwood at Lake Houston Senior Living Center in Atascocita, TX at the time of her passing. Virginia (Ginny) was born to Charles S. and Loretta R. Williams on March 1, 1939, in Beverly, MA. Ginny had an adventurous spirit and lived in many areas of the US, but mainly in Texas and northern Maine. She was a gentle and artistic person. Wherever she resided, she created a beautiful living space for her family. As a loving and caring mother, she spent many hours with her children sharing her love of nature. Ginny leaves behind her devoted husband, Jerry Shaw of Atascocita, TX; her children Paul Dooley, Alice Dooley and Brian Dooley of Houston, TX; and Chris (Emily) Jones of Fairbury, IL. She was a loving grandmother to Shawn (Evelyn) Dooley, Abigail and Hannah Cook and Gabriel, Hayden, Illyanna and Jaelyn Jones. She also leaves behind her brother, Peter in MA; sisters Carol Bensing in CA, Cathryn Parker in ME, and DayAnn Kelly in MA. Virginia was predeceased by her mother, father and step mother Eileen and brother, Standley. Donations to the Beverly Farms Improvement Society in Virginias memory are greatly appreciated. Burial will be in Beverly Farms, MA during a private ceremony.
