Our hearts are broken as we announce the passing of William “Nash” Kotcher, who left us far too soon on Sunday, August 2, 2026, at the age of 19. Born on July 13, 2007, to Bill and Stephanie Kotcher in Westerville, Ohio.
Nash graduated from Grand Oaks High School in 2025 and was a Sophomore at the University of Arkansas, where he was majoring in Supply Chain with a minor in Entrepreneurship. One of the life goals he commonly expressed was to own his own company possibly focused in the concrete industry. By the age of 18, he had already started two small businesses in the Houston area and touched many lives by volunteering to help those in need after Hurricane Harvey.
In the short time span of one year at the University of Arkansas, Nash became actively involved in Leadership Walton, was named Associate President of the Walton Sales Club, was one of only two freshmen selected to represent the University at the Arkansas Student Leadership Forum and became a member of the Kappa Alpha fraternity.
Nash had a deep love for people, life learning, business ventures, cars, music, and laughter. His laugh and humor could light up any room. The outpouring of stories sharing the impact Nash made to those around him has been overwhelming. He was a fiercely loyal friend, a compassionate soul, and someone who lived life with genuine enthusiasm.
Nash is survived by his loving parents, Bill and Stephanie Kotcher; sibling, Brody Kotcher; grandparent, Rayburn Bushnell; and many heartbroken aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill and Viola Kotcher along with Joyce Bushnell.
