  1. Lots of great memories with Collie (and Brooks). One of the most unique individuals I’ve ever known. Will never forget her acting in a little theater presentation of “Plaza Suite” in sheer terror because the actor who was playing her husband did not know his lines and her “prompting” him with her facial movements and gestures. She got him through it. Hilarious and pure Collie!

  2. I agree with Mike Brown that she was totally unique! We have had a Facebook friendship for several years and I will miss her behind-the-scenes messages to me. She would send lots of messages and say, “this is too pedantic for anyone else to read.” I am an opera lover too, but definitely not in the same class as Collie. She taught me so much. I would often send her opera clips that I thought she would enjoy, but I never sent her anything she’d not seen before. I would get the whole “pedantic” background on the singer and the person who wrote the opera. I’m sure she is entertaining the angels already.
