OBITUARY

One of the most beautiful mothers a boy and man could ever have.

Barbara McGuire Haughton (77) passed away Nov. 11, 2019 with her loving brother and son by her side, at Memorial Herman North East Hospital due to a massive heart attack.

Barbara was born to the late Maurice, Garth McGuire and Florence, Dewar McGuire on March 13, 1942. In Coronado CA. Barbara was the first of 5 children

Barbara graduated from High school in San Diego Ca. and went on to be a Stewardess, an Earth mover driver in the Arizona copper mines, a logging truck driver in the mountains of Ca. A long haul driver in 18 wheelers throughout the USA.

Barbara was a beautiful mother with two loving sons one of which she lost in 2017 (Timothy Fred Faries) and, Garth Maurice Faries who to this day lives in Texas. She had three brothers and one sister with two brothers still surviving and one sister all living in California.

Barbara is survived by one son, two brothers, one sister various cousins, and nephews and three Grandchildren. With Barbara’s passing she leaves behind beautiful memories that all of her family will cherish for all time.

Some of the most important events in Barbara’s life was the birth of her two sons and then she had a third little boy his name was Rubin. She loved all three of her kids with all her heart and the last years of her life she took the best care of her third son as well as she could as he had 4 legs and was her little boy, he was a Dachshund who she took with her every where she went. She would put him in a grocery basket and go into the super market with him all the time she would visit friends taking him with her as well as her brothers and siters he was always near by running and playing.

My mother’s smile I wall also miss for all time, every time I walked into a room with her in it, she would brighten up and give me a big beautiful smile and the first words I would here is Micky which was my nick name given to me by my mother. I will miss my mother more than words can ever say and I hope she is up in Heaven looking down upon me and all the rest of our family smiling knowing that one day we shall see each other again. Until then mom I love you always and forever your little Micky Mouse who is not quite so little any more but to you was always your little boy.
