  1. I love you Jake. I loved all of our conspiracy theories that the family always said we were crazy about, I loved all of our weird pictures because we never knew how to make a serious face, I loved our music concerts we’d have together, I loved all of the precious memories you left with me. Thank you for being my brother.

  2. Dear Jake,
I want you to know that the memories I have of you are from the best times in my life! It is terribly hard to say goodbye! You were special and I will never forget you! I wish we were in your old Jetta, and you were teaching me how to drive stick shift again. I’m glad we got to reminisce recently on a couple good HS stories. This is so sad, but I know heaven has a perfectly selfless new angel!

  3. One of my favorite memories with Jacob was when he accompanied me to Arandas to pick up some take out. We sat inside in a booth, with incorrectly typed signs that said “this table is close”. We had a good laugh, and he took of his mask for a minute. He put it back on, and we laughed and started to kiss with our masks on. It was probably not smart, or sanitary. But we laughed and smiled, talked about margaritas we liked, and talked about how he was at an Arandas about a decade ago after he got kicked out of a misfits concert.

  4. We are so very sorry for your loss. Jake was always so kind to everyone and had an amazing spirit. He will be truly missed by so many. Our hearts ache for your family. We will continue to pray for peace and comfort. May his soul and spirit live on and fly high.

    With much love and hugs,
    The Smiths ❤️

  8. Veronica and Mike – I am so saddened to hear about your son’s passing. I hope you have many family members and friends to gather around you during this difficult time. Please accept my deepest condolences.

  9. I just heard the news today and I’m completely shocked, heartbroken and just sad. You were always fun to be around, super nice, and I always enjoyed our talks about classic rock! It was rare to find someone our age who enjoyed that music. You would always be singing “Feel like makin love” by Bad Company just to be silly. I’ll always think of our Spanish class together and the struggle we all endured in that class I hope you’re at peace and I’m praying for your family.

Leave A Condolence
