Moore, Clara B.

OBITUARY

Clara Moore slipped away from us peacefully on the morning of December 16th.  Clara was born in Paradise Hill, Saskatchewan, Canada. She was married for 64 years to her husband Murray Moore, who preceded her in death in 2018.  She is survived by her 4 children: Craig Moore (Wife Nan), Colleen Moore Riley (Husband Larry), Scott Moore (Wife Paula), and Mark Moore (Wife Donna). Clara and Murray shared 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and their precious pup Cody.

Clara and Murray came with their children to the United States in 1963 from their home in western Canada. In 1980, Clara and Murray chose Texas as their home and built deep business and family roots in the community. Clara worked for many years as a bookkeeper until retiring at 62 to travel with her husband throughout the US and Canada. Traveling and camping in their motorhome across Western North America are among their fondest memories.

Clara was very loving, kind, thoughtful and generous. She always had a ready smile, a great sense of humor, and a kind word for everyone she met.

She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Due to COVID restrictions, a Celebration of Her Life will be delayed until it is safe for family and friends to gather once again. We will notify of any future plans for a future remembrance gatherings.

In lieu of flowers during these trying times, please share with the Salvation Army or your favorite charity. Clara loved caring for others in need.
