Susan Yvonne Pierce Farmer, of Humble, TX was born on December 15, 1951 and went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 24, 2021. Susan was the fourth of eight children born to Harold Francis Pierce and Johnny Faye Lukeashaey.
Susan attended the Humble School District, and after graduation began her career as a “professional student”. She obtained her degrees in Accounting and Paralegal, and Floral Design Certification through Houston Community College. At the time of her passing, she had started her studies in Fashion Design.
Susan was married for 25 wonderful years to Joe Farmer until his passing. She was born, raised, and lived in Humble almost her entire life.
She was interested in everything. She loved collecting beautiful things and books full of information. Susan could do anything she set her mind to. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and designing beautiful floral arrangements. Susan was a jack of all trades and mastered them all. She was unique, crafty, intelligent, artistic, strong, stubborn, and good-hearted.
She was a proud member of Choctaw Nation in Durant, Oklahoma. She was a devoted Christian woman who loved God.
Her greatest pride and joy were here daughters, Rebecca and Susan (aka Becky and Von) and “child” Cherry Farmer, and her proudest days were watching them graduate from college.
Susan is survived by daughter Susan Daniel (Kevin Daniel) of Mabelvale, AR; daughter Rebecca DeHart of Dardanelle, Arkansas; and daughter Cherry Farmer; sister Carolyn St. Clair of Haughton, Louisiana, brother Roy (Tuddy) Pierce of Ozark, Arkansas and brother Barney Pierce of Conroe, Texas; granddaughter Krystal Manning, great granddaughter Brooklyn Lopez, great grandson Riley Lopez, great grandson Jayden Lopez, granddaughter Lacy Roberts (Richard Roberts), great grandson Bentley Roberts, great granddaughter Emalyn Roberts, great granddaughter Aspen Roberts, grandson Jonathon Kirchoff (Josey Sterling), granddaughter Laina Underwood, great grandson Alix Moore, great grandson Zaidyn Moore and grandson Nick Williams (Ashley Williams).
Susan was preceded in death by her husband Joe Farmer; mother Jonnie Faye Lukeasheay and father Harold Francis Pierce; brother Phillip Pierce; brother Francis Pierce; sister Charlotte Carpino and brother Harold (Bubba) Pierce.
A visitation will take place on Monday, March 1, 2021 at Darst Funeral Home from 1:00pm to 3:00pm, with a Celebration of Life to follow at 3:00pm. Interment will be held privately in Sand Gap, Arkansas. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.darstfuneralhome.com for the Pierce Farmer family.

I’m so sorry for your loss and mine. I loved Susan for 42 yrs. I both admired her and appreciated her love of life. She was like a sponge for knowledge and one of toughest old heifers I knew. I will be miss that gruff old voice and that giggle. She was one of my oldest and cherished friends. I will miss you heifer.
