OBITUARY

On Sunday, April 11th, 2021, Scott Patrick Casler, loving husband, father, and brother passed away at the age of 46.
Scott was born on April 24, 1974 in Union City, NJ to Patrick and Eileen Casler. In his senior year of high school, he moved with his family to Kingwood, TX where he graduated from Kingwood High. He went on to attend school at Sam Houston State University in Hunstville, TX. He had several careers including banking and investments and retail. Most recently Scott worked as a store manager for Northern Tool + Equipment in Humble, TX.
Scott was a family man who cherished being a father and husband. There was nothing more important to him than his wife, Candice and their son, Patrick. In his free time, he enjoyed cooking and spending time with his family and friends. He was known for his quick wit, his candor and his kind and compassionate sprit. He was very proud of his Irish heritage as obvious by his love for his favorite holiday, St. Patrick’s Day when we would wear a kilt and drink Guinness….all day.
Scott was preceded in death by his mother, Eileen and his father, Patrick. He is survived by his wife Candice, son Patrick, brother Todd Casler and partner Chris Whitwam, sisters-in-law Miranda Shuman and Kerri Wright as well as their husbands Richard Shuman and Benny Wright respectively and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Scott’s life will be held on Monday, April 19th, at Darst Funeral Home on Russell Palmer Rd. in Kingwood, TX at 2:00 CST.

  8. I just learned about this today. Scott was my cousin and we hadnt seen one another in a long time. But my memories of him and his family have always been fond. We grew up togther and went to school together for many years and though time and distance parted us our blood and friendship remained. My deepest syampthy to his wife and son and his brother Todd. As well as their extended families. “May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind always be at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, and rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of His hand.”
