Danny Andrew Turner aka “ T “ to his close friends and family was 73 years of age, passed from this life unto his Eternal home Saturday morning July 10, 2021 peacefully in his bed after a long battle with several illnesses. Dan was born January 15, 1948 in a small town from west Texas, called Lamesa.
Dan is survived by his wife of 53 years of marriage and a friendship that started in the second grade, Daughter Tonya Hakes and husband Harlo Hakes, son Troy Jessy Turner and wife Samantha Turner and Daughter Paige Dillon and Husband Timothy Dillon. Brother Coy Sloan and wife Natalie. Grandchildren Chelcee Denny, Halie Belford, Micah & Noah Hakes, Lacey Macintosh, Kelcey & Jessy Turner, Timothy, Bryson & Chloe Dillon. Great grandchildren, Preslee & Maddox Turner, Allan, Hannah, Brogan & Liam Belford, Elena Quezada and 2 more on their way.
Preceding Dan in death was his Father, Jess Andrew Turner and Mother, Gladys Ardie Turner.
There will be a Visitation for “T” on Monday July 19, 2021 at 10:30am at Darst Funeral Home. A Funeral will follow at 12:30pm. There will be a procession to the Houston National Cemetery for a Burial at 2:15pm.
