OBITUARY

Troy Lee Greene, 59, departed this world peacefully to be with his Savior on Saturday, September 25, 2021.

Troy was born on April 22, 1962, in Lake Jackson to Jerry and Judy K. Greene, he was the oldest of two boys. They were raised by their single mother, who was a nurse. After a successful career in the oil and gas industry, he decided to open a CBD store, to serve his community. Troy was happily married to Ronda, who was his partner in life for almost 12 years. Troy was proceeded in death by his mother Judy K. Greene, father Jerry Greene and brother Aaron Stacy Greene.
Troy is survived by his wife Ronda, his children Aaron (wife Francesca), Ashley (husband Trent), his step-children Felicia (husband Matt), Keith (wife Becky), Terry and his grandchildren Melody, Lucy, Liam, McKenzie, Matthew, Mia, Alexis, Brenden and Dominik. His close friends Craig and Mary Carrell.
Besides spending time with his family and friends, Troy had a passion for music concerts, traveling and cooking food. He was so much fun to be around and truly never met a stranger. He was known for his loving, loyal and generous personality; his ability to reach out and help everyone around him.
Family, friends, and those whose lives were touched by Troy are invited to Darst Funeral Home for a Celebration of Life this Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 11:00am.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Troy Greene on Saturday, October 2, 2021 in the Darst Funeral Home Gardens at 11 am.

  1. Oh Troy Boy….what an awesome character you are! You have brought so many smiles to my face through the years. Your wit was out if this world. I remember all your adventures of going to different resturants. You always had the love for food and cooking. Jokes to tell forever! Thanks for taking care of RJ and all you have done for your family and friends. Fly high sweet Troy I hope you and Greg are up there barbecuing and cheering on the Texans. Until we meet again.

  4. Troy we never meat in person, but I feel like known you. Thank you for being a wonderful husband to Ronda and amazing with the kids. Rest in peace.

  5. I hadn’t know Troy long, but he was such a joyful and fun person to be around. His light will be missed in these chaotic times. Rest in peace till we all meet again.

  6. So sad to hear about Troy. My condolences to Rhonda and family. My favorite memory of Troy is that any time our paths crossed at work we were both singing out loud to ourselves.
