Robert “Bob” Monty Alewine, born June 20, 1944 in Plainview, TX, passed away April 30, 2014 in Humble, TX. Bob was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles. Robert is preceded in death by his parents Monty and Sylvia Alewine. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Janet Alewine; daughters: Michelle Tallman and husband, Robert Sandoval, Katrina Bernard and husband, Mike, Lindy Kowalik; sister, Linda Neighbors and husband, Jim; brother, Dwight Alewine and wife, Jenny; grandchildren, Amber Moore and husband, Chris, Stephanie Saenz and husband, Robert, Cory Tallman, Serena Sandoval, Ty Kowalik, Autumn Erenwert; and great-grandson, Westin Saenz. Visitation with the family will be Monday, May 5, 2014 from 1:00 pm to 3:00pm at Darst Funeral Home; followed by a celebration of his life at 3:00 pm.
