James Earl Alexander, born February 19, 1935, in Mineola, Texas and passed away Sunday, January 21, 2018 in New Caney, Texas.
He was 82 years old. “Alex” / “Jimmy” was born to his parents; Robert Walker Alexander and Nancy Holland Alexander.
Jimmy was proceeded in Death by his wife Ann Marie Alexander. Brother’s John Alexander Sr and Elmer Alexander, and sisters Marie Ludwig and Doris Lemoine, and Step-Daughter Nancy McAllister and son-in-law Robert McAllister.
Alex is survived by his brother Robert Alexander and family, daughter and son-in-law, Katherine Ann and Alan Jenks of HoustonTexas, Daughter AmyLynn Kentzlerof Cottonwood Arizona, Son James Singletary-Alexander and Daughter-in–law Dana of New Caney, Texas. Step–son’s Steven White, Gerald Singletary, Johnny Singletary and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
Grandchildren Jessica and Tim Core of Houston Texas, Jordan and Anya Jenks of Houston Texas, JolinKentzlerof Cottonwood Arizona, Autumn Garrett and Chelsea Singletary.Tyler McAllister, Zacharyand Zane White, Dustinand Nikolas Singletary, Britney Singletary and ShannaMcCurly all of New Caney, Texas and great grandchildren Julia, Jackson, Emmaleigh and Hudson of Houston Texas.
A visitation for Jimmy will be held from 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm with the funeral service to follow at 4:00 pm on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Darst Funeral Home,796 Russell Palmer Road Kingwood, Texas.A reception to follow.
