Cameron, John M

John Marshall Cameron passed away on March 18, 2016, in Houston, TX, after a long illness.  John was born on October 13, 1962, in Lufkin, Texas.  He lived his early childhood in Italy, Germany, Georgia and Texas.  John moved to Houston in 1992.  He served his country as a Military Police Officer in the United States Army from 1983 to 1986, in Texas, Germany and Korea.  In the late 1980s, John was a Police Officer for the Lancaster Police Department, Lancaster Texas.  Immediately prior to his illness, John was a Computer IT Expert for a large corporation in Houston.  John enjoyed computer technology, fishing, cooking, and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his father, John Hubert Cameron; his grandparents, Hans and Ellie Grunheid, and Marshall and Evelyn Cameron; his uncles, Robert Cameron and Wolfgang Rausch; and aunt, Jutta Rausch.  He is survived by his loving wife, Melodie Cameron; step-daughters, Jennifer Pena, and husband, Fernando Pena of Houston, TX, and Audrey Cooper of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Haley, Nadia, Elyssa, Christian, and Adriana; daughters, Crystal and Danielle Morales of Austin, TX; daughter, Brittney Wilson of Tyler, TX; and son, Scott Cameron of Willis, TX;  mother, Ursula Cameron of Huntsville, TX; sister, Carolyn Cameron Moreno and brother-in-law, David Moreno of Waco, TX; sister, Bobbie James and brother-in-law, Frank James of Copperas Cove, TX; nephew, Robert Evilsizer and wife, Tara Evilsizer of Bossier City, LA; niece, Cody Amber Robertson, and husband, Ty Robertson of Copperas Cove, TX; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.  He will be dearly and truly missed.
