CLAUDE MILBURN CHEATWOOD SR born November 22, 1941 in Bienville Parish, Louisiana to James Clyde Cheatwood and Mary Suzanne Humphrey passed away April 16, 2015 in Porter, TX at the age of 73. Mr. Cheatwood was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother. Among his many accomplishments in life he was a U.S. Army Veteran, Master Electrician, and operated his own electrical contracting business since 1973. He is survived by his wife Nancy, 3 brothers, James Cheatwood of Lawrenceville, GA, Daniel Cheatwood of Tomball, TX, and Richard Cheatwood of Houston, TX; 4 sisters, Becky Miller of Destin, FL, Judy Golden of Houston, TX, Connie Lunde of Spring, TX and Cindy Petty of Houston, TX; daughters, Lori Greene of Pampa, TX, Toni Cheatwood of Houston, TX, and Andi Flesch of Katy, TX; sons, Claude M. Cheatwood Jr of Katy, TX, and SGT William R. Cheatwood of Porter, TX; 7 grandchildren, Jessica Zabala, Tito Zabala, Robert Dillon Coronado, Victoria Lauren Sayago, Cameron Mason Cheatwood, Payton Lynn Cheatwood, and Karlie Cheatwood; and great grandchild, Elias Albert Sayago. He is preceded in death by his parents, and son, Rodney James Cheatwood.

Visitation will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday April 20, 2015 and Funeral Service will follow at 11:30 A.M. followed by a Reception at The Gardens at Darst Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family prefers that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Claude’s name.
