Jerry Lynn Coldiron (62), born in Houston, TX went to be with the Lord on July 30, 2015. He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon Coldiron and his mother, Barbara Rushing. Jerry dedicated his life to our country serving as a Master Sergeant in the US Army, 82nd Airborne, and the Active National Guard (AGR). He was an avid Houston Texans fan, enjoyed scuba diving, had a passion for airplanes and flying, and lived life to the fullest through his many adventures. Jerry was also a Master Mason for the Humble Lodge #979 for many years. While he served our country and enjoyed many hobbies, Jerry’s greatest love was his family.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 40 years, Susan Coldiron; children: Jerry Lynn Coldiron II and wife Kristen, Brenna Coldiron Volk and husband Michael, James Kyle Coldiron and wife Brittanie; grandchildren: Taylor, Callum, and Eisley Volk; sister, Shari Rushing; brothers, Terry Coldiron and Charles Rushing; along with a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 2nd from 7-9pm at Darst Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held at Darst Funeral Home at 1pm with a graveside service to follow at Brookside Memorial Park where full military honors will be rendered.
