Emily Lynn Marquard

OBITUARY

Emily “Emma” Marquard, 36, of Houston, Texas went to Heaven on Saturday June 25th, 2022. Born on January 24th, 1986, to Kevin and Mari Marquard at home in Humble, Texas.  Weighing only 5 lbs. 8 oz. Emma made an unexpected but grand entrance into the loving arms of her father; surprising both of her parents and the midwife who was still on the way!

Even though Emma was tiny in stature, her heart was as big as Texas, filled with unconditional love for her family, friends, animals and The Lord. She was a beautiful soul, always so gentle, quiet, and kind.

After graduating from Klein High School, Emma followed her passion caring for animals. She spent her days working hard as a Kennel Tech at Preppy Pets and in her free time would hang out with friends and family.  Her life was cut short, but she touched the hearts of many while she was with us.

Emily was proceeded in death by her grandparents, Jim Dunbar, Darlene Dunbar, and Frank and Bonnie Marquard.

She is survived by her parents, Mari Dunbar Marquard, Kevin Marquard (Stephanie), her sisters Nicole Sechelski (Kevin), Megan Essary (Steven) and Marian Wentzel, her brothers Greg Wentzel (Carma) and Geoff Wentzel, her Grandma Dee Dunbar, her 5 nieces, 4 nephews and her 2 cats Snickers and Reese’s.

We will celebrate Emily’s life on Saturday, July 30th at 12:00 pm at Northside Christian Church 20250 Kuykendahl Spring, TX 77379
