Tommy “Tom” Walker Frank, Jr., 58, passed away at home in his sleep on Saturday, June 6, 2015.

Tom was born in Grapevine, Texas to Tommy and Sterett Ann Frank. His family moved to Houston where they still reside. Tom attended Northbrook High School and was active in the Boy Scouts Troop 641 at Chapelwood Methodist Church.

Tom was a natural and gifted salesman who dearly loved people. He held successful careers in electronics, technology and funeral services. Tom has a wide variety of interests including baseball and skiing, but was always happiest when racing motorcycles.

After graduating from Houston Baptist University, Tom met and married his wife of 27 years, Margaret, in 1988. He was then blessed with a daughter, Sterett, in 1983, and a son, Russell, in 1995. Tom was a loving and dedicated father who was extremely active and involved in his kids’ lives and activities including coaching Spring Branch Memorial Sports Association teams, Boy Scouts, Indian Guides and Indian Princesses.

A true family man, tom dedicated his life to extended family and friends and will be dearly missed. Tom was preceded in death by his parents. Tom is survived by his wife, Margaret Pierce Frank; daughter, Sterett Marie Frank; son, Russell Thomas Frank; sister, Susan Frank MacIvor and her husband, Keith; sister, Patricia Ann Frank; uncle, John Joe Russell, Jr.; niece, Meredith Kate MacIvor; nephew, Alan Thomas MacIvor; sister-in-law, Susan Pierce Lancaster and her husband, Bill; sister-in-law, Sherry Pierce Martin and her husband, Bobby, and nieces and nephews-in law, Connor Fralin, Pierce Lancaster, Rhodes Martin, Robey Martin, Cabell Wagner and Mary Quinn Ferguson.

A memorial service will be held at 3 pm Friday, June 12, 2015 at Chapelwood United Methodist Church in the Scout Building, 11140 Greenbay Street, Houston, TX 77024.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association Houston & Southeast Texas Chapter.

Funeral: A memorial service was held on 2015-06-12 at Chapelwood United Methodist Church- The Scout Building.
