Truman James Houston III went by several names: Jackie to his family and early friends, James in his later years, and Jack on facebook. He always chose laughter over tears and joy over sadness. He left his thumbprint permanently on so many lives he came across while pursuing his passion for cars, racing, and photography. For decades he enjoyed being a member and building model cars with the Houston Automotive Modelers Society (HAMS) and could often be found wondering around car shows with his camera in hand taking thousands of pictures of cars, engines, etc.
