Nancy Lee Koch Johnson, lovingly known as “Nene”, passed away February 26, 2017, at the age of 63, at home in Kingwood, Texas.

Nancy was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Jack Earl Koch and Nancy Baarlaer Koch, on July 17, 1953. She is survived by her loving husband, of 37 years, Rocquee Lynn Johnson. Her children: Ashley Elizabeth and Jasmine and daughter Ellee; Christopher Lee and wife Amber, their two daughters Riley and Rhian; Jack Nicholas Johnson. She is also survived by her mother Nancy Koch and siblings: Mark and Tricia Koch, Mike and Julie Koch, Steve and Lyn Koch, Kacy Howard, Tim and Judy Koch, Jim and Marita Koch. Her mother-in-law Janice Johnson, and siblings: Steve Johnson and Martha, Don Robert and Debbie Johnson and Julie Johnson and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her father Jack Koch, father-in-law Robert Johnson, and brother-in-law Ronnie Johnson.

Nancy is a graduate of Duschene Academy, Houston, Texas and Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas. She also received her Masters from the University of Phoenix.

Nancy’s passions in life were her husband, children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed traveling and volunteering. Nancy was a very active volunteer with many organizations including; Houston Rodeo Gate Keepers, Gary Sinise Foundation, Blue Star Mothers and the Kingwood Fallen Heroes Memorial Golf Tournament.
