OBITUARY

We are sad to announce the passing of Judith (Judie) Mary Baumeyer of Kingwood, TX.  She died at home, at the age of 80 years old, on November 11, 2022.  Her loving husband of nearly 60 years, Ervin (Erv) Harry Baumeyer, was by her side.

Judie was born Judith Mary Wildhaber on January 19, 1942 in Beaufort, MO, to parents David and Lidwina Wildhaber. Her family moved to St. Louis, MO where she met the love of her life, Erv.  They married on June 1, 1963 and welcomed three children.  She was an amazing mother and was so proud of her children. The family moved to Kingwood, TX in 1980 where Erv pursued his opportunity to expand his engineering business and to be closer to Judie’s only brother, Roger, and his family.

Upon arriving in Kingwood, Judie made many new friends playing tennis at the Kingwood Country Club. She was very artistic and had a love for quilting, jewelry making, and artwork. Judie had many wonderful friends in the quilting community and was dearly loved by so many. She was an active member of St. Martha Catholic Church for 42 years.

She was predeceased by her mother, father, and sister-in-law Betty Wildhaber.  She is survived by her husband; her three children, Lauri Kay and her husband Bernie, William (Bill) Baumeyer and his wife Gabrielle, and Amy Roos; her brother Roger Wildhaber and his wife Peggy; her four grandchildren, Andrew Kay, Allison Kay, Hunter Roos and Katie Roos; and her four nieces and nephew, Jayne Harvey, Mark Wildhaber, Lisa Drum, and Jill Wildhaber, as well as other friends and loved ones.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in honor of Judie to charity of your choice.
