Mary Sue Hosea Brothers, born August 31, 1959 in Houston, Tx, passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at the age of 62 in Houston, Tx.

Mary was born to Marion and Johnnie Mae Hosea.  Her favorite thing to do was spend time with her family, especially her “Baby Girl” Tiffany.  She loved being surrounded by her fur babies, even singing to them at night before bed.  Most of the time you could find her watching her daily soap, Days of Our Lives, or Dancing with the Stars.  If she wasn’t watching her shows she was singing along to her music.  Most of the time it was oldies.  She loved her some Elvis Presley.

Mary is survived by her daughters: Tiffany Hare, Julie Dempsey and husband Billy, and Angie Farmer; grandchildren: Brianna Summers, Chase Phillips, Brandon Phillips, Michael Cooper, and Melissa Cooper; great-grandchildren: Baylor Phillips, Michael Cooper Jr, Adalynn Cooper, Hayden Cooper, and Haley Cooper; siblings: Katie Wills, Nancy Burnett, and David Burnett.  She also had many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and cousins that she adored.

Mary is proceeded in death by both of her parents; her husband Dinkie Hare; and siblings Thomas Lee Ollison, Thomas Wayne Perdue, and Betty Squires.

Service Information

A visitation will be held at Darst Funeral Home on Thursday, August 25th from 7PM - 9 PM. A graveside service will be held the next day, Friday, August 26th, at 3 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery and Funeral Home.
