June and Kosei moved to Humble, TX from Okinawa, Japan in April of 1992. Since then they have watched their grandchildren grow and flourish. June always had a smile on her face when she was with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was kind and gracious to everyone she met. She was an avid reader, especially her daily Asahi Shinbun newspaper. She was an exceptionally good cook and found great joy in preparing traditional Japanese dishes for her family. June loved to grow vegetables and herbs in her garden. She was a great survivor who suffered great hardships in her life, but showed great dignity and perseverance. She will always be forever in our hearts and near in spirit.
