OBITUARY

Humble, Texas – Stacie Ann Morales, 58, of 17939 Diamond Peak Court, went home to heaven Thursday, January 11, 2018, from her home.

She was born May 5, “Cinco de Mayo” 1959, the daughter of the Simone and the late Carolyn Landry in Lafayette, Louisiana. Stacie loved our lord and honored him, family and friends with unwavering conviction. Stacie’s love for the Lord was exemplified in her caring and concern for others. Her smile was infectious, and her spirit was contagious to all she came in contact with. Anyone that knew Stacie Ann knew that Rodney worshipped and love the ground she walked on.

Stacie relocated to Houston, Texas after high school enrolling in Spencer Business College. Upon graduation she began her professional career. Stacie was the consummate Administrative Professional championing efforts to ensure that co-workers and customers received nothing short of excellence. While working for Kellogg, Brown and Root/Halliburton; East Houston Regional Medical Center; Baylor Saint Luke Medical Center; Houston Airport Systems, she received numerous awards, certificates and accolades. A special thanks to Mr. Martin J. Van Sickles and Mrs. Jeanna Bamburg for their professional influences.

Mrs. Morales is survived by her loving husband of 25 plus years, Rodney Joseph Morales, Humble, Texas. Her father Simone Lewis Hicks (the late Carolyn Landry Hicks) of Lafayette, Louisiana. One brother, Steven Hicks (Linda) of Lafayette, Louisiana (children, Hayden and Jansen). A sister, Susan Hicks Stawaisz (Raymond) of Tomball, Texas (children Ross and Ryan). A Father and Mother in marriage, the late Juan B. Morales and his surviving wife Rosael Morales of Portland, Oregon. One sister in marriage Michele Morales-Dennison (Gary) of Portland, Oregon (daughter Nicole). Three sons, Dennis Michael Morales (Crystal), Adrian Christopher Morales (Anna), Christopher Jordan Morales (Ana) all of Pennsylvania. Two brothers in marriage, Geoffrey Morales(Diana) of Tomball, Texas, (daughter Lisa) and the late Michael Morales of Katy, Texas (daughter Vanessa, son Christopher). Aunts’ Gwen, Pearl, Libby, Mill, Nez, five grandchildren, Eli, Nathalia, Zelda, Antonio and Leilani, and a host of relatives and friends. Preceding Stacie to heaven were her mother Carolyn, and her Grand Parents Ernest and Sadie Landry.

A Celebration Service commemorating the life of Stacie Ann will be held Friday, January 26, 2018, at 6:30 p.m. at Darst Funeral Home, 796 Russell Palmer Road in Kingwood, TX.
