OBITUARY

William Blair Mosser, 83, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, November 22, 2015.

Bill was born on January 19, 1932 in Kane, Pennsylvania, to Dr. William Blair Mosser and Thelma Fisher Hall. He was raised in Kane, Pennsylvania until about the age of 15. Following his mother’s passing, he was sent to boarding school at Lawrenceville Prep-School in New Jersey. Upon graduating at Lawrenceville, he attended Stanford University in California, obtaining a Master’s Degree in Business. He ended his professional career as a senior administrative manager for formerly Brown and Root, now KBR. After retirement, he and his wife, Patricia Jessee Mosser, traveled the world via planes, trains and automobiles, and cruise ships. In his free time from traveling after retirement, he gave 11 years as a volunteer to Memorial Herman Northeast.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, a son and daughter, Richard Mosser and Suzanne and her husband, Jeff Kuklovsky, four stepchildren: David Traylor and his wife, Rhonda, Lisa Traylor, Michael Traylor and his wife, Lara, and Todd Traylor. He is also survived by nine grandchildren: Nicole Mosser, Jacob Kuklovsky, Stacey, Michael, Zachary, Blake, Tyler, Emerson and Cameron Traylor. He is also survived by his step-sister Carroll Magnuson, and cousin, Dorothy Ignozzi.

Bill and Pat met at a dance, and after dating 6 weeks, decided that they were madly in love and got married, joining both families together. Summers were spent with the children at Lake Livingston fishing, water skiing, camping, swimming, and golfing. Bill’s dogs were much loved, and always a part of the family. Bill was always into athletics and spent many hours walking every day, until his health began to fail.

He died in hospice care at home, surrounded by his family,  after suffering seizures and a mini stroke.  A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Martha Catholic Church, located at 4301 Woodridge Parkway,  Porter, TX 77365.  Interment following at Rosewood Cemetery.
