Walhalla, SC— Timothy Edward Poston, 53, of 3210 Rambling Creek Drive, Kingwood, TX, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at Kingwood Medical Center. A native of Walhalla, SC, Mr. Poston was the son of Nellie Moore Poston and the late Harold Utah Poston. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. In addition to his mother, Mr. Poston is survived by his sons: Travis Aaron Poston, Hunter David Poston, and Ian Timothy Poston all of Kingwood, TX; daughter: Jennifer Gabrielle Poston of Kingwood, TX; brother: Ken Poston of Walhalla, SC; and sisters: Lisa Addis of West Union, SC, Monica Cook of Dacula, GA, and April Holbrooks of Walhalla, SC.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Thursday, May 5, 2016, at North Walhalla Church of God with entombment to follow at Oconee Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM, prior to the service, at North Walhalla Church of God. Memorials may be made to North Walhalla Church of God, Attn: Building Fund, P.O. Box 75, Walhalla, SC 29691. The family is at the home of his mother; 422 Holloway Street, Walhalla, SC.
