September 27, 1946 - September 3, 2018
Frank L. Romano, age 71, died on September 3, 2018 in Kingwood, Texas. He was born in Houston, Texas on September 27, 1946 to parents Michael and Artie Romano.
He is survived by two sisters, Carol Bayer and husband Daniel Bayer, Barbara Fliehler and husband Rick Fliehler, many nieces and nephews, many close friends, especially Kerry Short.
He loved his mom, family and camping at Lake Conroe in his trailer. He never met a stranger and would engage anyone in conversation.
Seems like everyone in the immediate neighborhood knew Frank. He got around and also enjoyed being a part of the neighborhood watch drive on Fridays. He was also willing to lend a hand to any neighbor needing help.
He was a good cook and never turned down an invitation to eat Cajun cuisine at Pappadeaux’s. He adored his canine companion Benji and never missed Auto, Boat or Camping shows.
He was a dedicated Whataburger person and was part of the group gathering there every Sunday morning.
He loved music, especially 50s and 60s.
The family request in lieu of flowers donations to be made to either the American Cancer Society or American Lung Association.
