Catelin entered this world on December 30, 1995. She departed us much too early on January 26, 2017, at the young age of 21. In her short life she visited several states and lived briefly in El Paso and Colorado Springs, however, she always considered Kingwood home. Cay Cay lived life her way and on her terms. She had a big heart and practiced love, tolerance and was non- judgmental of others. She had a great love for animals. When Cay Cay was young she wanted to bring home every animal that she would find. She had a taste for salmon and Mexican food, especially salsa of her own creation. Catelin graduated early from Kingwood High School in 2013. She had future plans to go to school to be a vet tech.

Cay Cay loved sports, especially softball. She started playing in kindergarten and continued until 9th grade. She often mentioned how much she missed playing the sport.

Catelin loved children in general and was a terrific mother to her own, Rayna and Jaxon. She often took them outside to play. Swimming was always a favorite of hers and her children. Catelin enjoyed spending time with her family around the holidays, especially playing games.

Cay Cay is preceded in death by her pa-pa, Linwood Sheffield.

Catelin is survived by her parents, Debbie and Kelli Hartman, her siblings, Brandon Hartman and Kady Medina, her children, Rayna and Jaxon Simon, her grandparents, Cathy Sheffield, Phil and Darlene Smith, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

She will be missed greatly by all.
