Robert “Bob” Adair Smith Sr. of Conroe, TX. passed away on Friday May 20, 2016 after a long struggle with Lewy Body Dementia. Born in Denver, Colorado he is preceded in death by his parents Homer Adair Smith and Dorothy Warren. He is also predeceased by his son Robert “Bobby” Adair Smith Jr. and grandson Shawn Michael Smith. Bob is survived by his wife Sheri Ann Smith, and sons Michael Alan Smith (wife Patti), Christian Michael Gear (wife Jia), Corey Allen Gear (wife Debbie) and Curtis L. Robinson (wife Melinda). Grandchildren include Sarah Ann Kirkpatrick (husband Danny), Bryan Smith (wife Marian), Jenny Christine Smith, Erik Gomez, Kristina Sullivan (husband Tyler), Kari, Coby and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.

Bob was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and made a successful life in numerous business ventures including Real Estate, Auctioneering and ultimately retiring from the Harris County Sheriff ‘s Department. A Visitation/Rosary service will be held on May 25, 2016 from 6-9 pm at Darst Funeral Home in Kingwood, Tx. Rosary service will begin at 8:00PM. Funeral service to be held on May 26, 2016 at 10:30AM at Darst Funeral Home, Father Hai presiding, followed by a light luncheon in the Gardens. Funeral procession to graveside service at Houston National Cemetery will follow luncheon.
