Osvaldo “Ozzie” Rodoberto Sotomayor Jr., was born in Utado, Puerto Rico August 7, 1935 to Osvaldo and Frances Sotomayor, and passed away in Kingwood, TX on April 4, 2015. Ozzie was a longtime volunteer with the Mountain Lakes Fire Department in New Jersey and proudly served in the United States Air Force. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 54 years, Irma Sotomayor; children: Sabrina Gow and husband Bear, Orlando Sotomayor and wife Heidi; Roxanne DeAquino of Ledgewood, NJ; brother, Harry Sotomayor of Bronx, NY; sister, Emma Miranda Sayville, NY; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

Visitation will be from 6-9:00pm, Wednesday, April 8th at Darst Funeral Home: 796 Russell Palmer Rd., Kingwood, TX 77346. A funeral mass will be held 11:30am, Thursday, April 9th at St Martha Catholic Church: 4301 Woodridge Pkwy., Porter, TX 77365.
