OBITUARY

Joshua Stevens, our eloquent logophile, commandeered the English language like a brigadier general. Mere mortals are we, and although we might not have always exactly deciphered his words, we always knew what he meant; he loved truly and deeply. The student has passed the teachers on his road to eternity and Jesus.

Todd and Raeann, content with their recent adoption of Amber, surprisingly receive a phone call with news of an availability of a baby boy to be born soon. The news about Joshua surprised them, but then he decided he wanted to be born 4 days later. He was an avid video game player, “expensive” watch collector, “expensive” headphones purchaser, and “expensive” knife collector. Josh enjoyed exploring “expensive” restaurants in the local Houston area. He enjoyed family outings at the local gun range. His favorite pastime was antagonizing Sadie, the dog, and she loved him for it.

Josh Stevens, 18, of Houston, Texas, died Wednesday, April 12, 2017. He is survived by parents, Todd and Raeann Stevens, and sister, Amber Stevens, and Sadie the dog. He attended the University of Houston.

He also leaves his maternal grandparents Kenneth & Sherley Foster

Paternal grandparents Mike & Linda Stevens

He is survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
