OBITUARY

Beatrice Pauline Strange 84 , familiarly known as Pauline, formerly of Albion OK peacefully passed in Broken Arrow, OK on March 25, 2017.

She was born in Albion, OK on April 3, 1932 to Fred Wesley Spicher and Etta Pearl (Cannady) Spicher.

She was a well known figure in the area selling and listing many properties as a Real Estate Broker. She owned a small store in Albion for a few years as well as worked for Clayton Today for several years.

She covered the news in the area from basketball games to Choctaw Nation Homecoming. When she wasn’t working she was following her passion for taking pictures of the natural surroundings. It wasn’t uncommon for her to be up at 5 a.m. to climb over a fence to get a good shot in a field or pasture or river. She had beautiful flower gardens and loved being in her yard. She lived many years next to First Baptist Church of Albion. She left at 18 years old and returned to the area in 1977 to stay until her health would not allow her to be far from a hospital.

She is preceded in death by parents Fred Spicher and Etta Pearl Spicher, also a brother Carl Wesley Spicher and sisters Moselle Marshall, Lucille McGee, Fredia Bevenue, and Ruby Wise. Also preceding her in death was her daughter Susan Cline and granddaughter Tara Strange, and great granddaughter Madison Carner.

She is survived by her daughters, Delia (Strange) Wall and Ronnie of Kingwood, TX and Paula (Strange) Patterson of Broken Arrow, OK.

Her surviving sisters are Helen (Spicher) Uberman of Lindale, TX, Lena (Spicher) O’Bryan and Leroy of Pioneer, CA , Maryann (Spicher) Carper of Lindale, TX and sister in law Tami Spicher of Texarkana, TX. Also surviving her are her grandchildren, Jason and Tonya Turner of Dickinson, TX, Joshua Turner and Erin, of Bozeman, Montana and Isaac Turner of Broken Arrow, OK, Leah Wall of Humble, TX and Talitha Wall of Santa Barbara, CA , Christina (Patterson) Carner of Catoosa, OK, Nicole Patterson of Tulsa, OK and Jessica (Patterson) Mathes of Tulsa, OK.

She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Her Memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at Albion First Baptist Church, 101 Missouri St., Albion OK. The service will be officiated by Reverend Randy Shaddox who came to know Pauline during her care from Hometown Hospice in Broken Arrow, OK. We would like to express our appreciation for the great care she got at Senior Health Center of Broken Arrow, OK.
