Randy was born on January 28, 1947 in Michigan City, Indiana to Everett and Hazel Talbutt. He graduated from Elston High School in 1965 before being drafted into the Army and serving in the Vietnam War. Randy spent several years travelling the USA and setting up events with van clubs. A few years after moving to Texas, Randy founded his chimney sweep company, a home repair company, and later, an office supply company. He enjoyed travelling locally and all over Texas with motorcycle clubs, as well as volunteering with Cub Scouts and at motorcycle-related events such as the Ride for Kids.

In his later years, Randy was a hard-working single father that loved hosting get-togethers for friends and family. He was a selfless, caring, and thoughtful man who loved offering his help. He loved going to jam sessions at his friend’s home and was passionate about music and motorcycle rides. His friends and family remember him as a sweet and loving bright ball of sunshine, and all will miss his wonderful stories, jokes, political emails, and sense of humor.
