The Hollis family moved to Coppell, Texas in 2001.  Jessica graduated from Coppell High School where she was very active in both the arts and choral music programs. She especially loved the varsity choir and Madrigal competitions/performances – domestic and abroad.  She also held many parts in local musical theater productions and received state wide recognition for her artwork.  She attended Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee her freshman year to study vocal performance.  She then transferred to Baylor University and went on to receive a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2009.

She married Mark Van Soestberg on June 9th, 2013. Mark was the man of her dreams.  He was the anchor to her “hot air balloon!”  He was her soul mate.  They laughed, they loved, and they brought out the best in each other.  After they married, they moved to the Houston, TX area.

Her beautiful singing voice was a blessing to many.   Jessica took pride in working at Kosmin Media Group in Kingwood.  She was also working on developing a website to market her work with murals, portraits, and commissioned art.
